Does the Diamond Certificate Matter?
Getting a certificate from an independent laboratory is important as they’re graded objectively using an international grading system. How Do I read my IGI Certificate?
It is very easy to read your IGI certificate. The first page of your report shows the Laboratory Grown Diamond Report which is a summary of the key gemological factors of your diamond. Ensure the number on your IGI Certificate is the same as the laser engraving on your diamond’s girdle. Just ask any of our ZCOVA Curators to help you spot the number using our microscope. This way you can rest assured that you’re getting the diamond you paid for.
Proportions and Clarity Characteristics show the cut of your diamond and its clarity, any non visible and visible inclusions are marked in the clarity characteristics here.
Finally on the last page of your IGI report, it shows you the grading scales that they’ve used as well as an enlarged picture of your diamond, and the laser inscription.
When it comes to purchasing a Lab Grown Diamond, you can choose from over 100,000 Ch’ya by ZCOVA Diamonds. Our Curators guide you through every step of the way and are able to help pick the stone of your dreams. We also offer customised rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
